Bringing the Library to You!: ERIC Documents

A guide to using library resources for students on clinical rotation, enrolled in distance courses or otherwise away from campus.

Obtaining ERIC Documents

Pacific University Library subscribes to four databases that index ERIC documents:

ERIC, from CSA   ERIC, from EBSCOhost

ERIC, from FirstSearch   ERIC, from the U.S. Department of Education

If you are searching these databases, and find a citation for which full-text is not available, you may request the document or microfiche through Interlibrary Services (ILLiad).  If you have never used ILLiad before, you will be prompted to complete a one-time registration form.

ILLiad   First time user FAQs

IMPORTANT NOTES:

ERIC documents have an accession number in their citation information.  This number is preceded by either EJ or ED.  You must include the ED number in your ILLiad request.  Place it either in the ISSN or Notes field.

Documents older than 1993 may only be available on microfiche.  If you have questions about using microfiche, please contact Interlibrary Services at 503-352-1413 or 1410.
