How to Publish a Scholarly Article

Blind your paper!

Most peer-reviewed journals use a double-blind review process.  This means that authors and reviewers cannot know the others' identity.  When you submit your manuscript to a journal that uses such a process, make sure that:

  1. Your name or other identifying information is not anywhere on the manuscript.
  2. If necessary, you have removed the information from the Word document properties.
