Google Drive functions as a storage database, with nearly unlimited storage for students, that is easily accessible from any device with a stable internet connection. One of the key features of Google Drive is being able to upload files from any of your personal devices for access anywhere and because Google Drive provides a new kind of ease when it comes to sharing your work with others.
There are several ways to upload files to Google Drive. a) Firstly, you can select the large, red New button in the left corner of the page.
b) You can also select the My Drive dropdown menu.
c) Or right click on the file storage area.
a) After selecting the New button, select File Upload from the dropdown menu.
b) From the My Drive drop down menu, select Upload Files…
c) And after right clicking, select Upload Files...
The Choose a File to Upload pop up menu will come up. Select the file you wish to use and hit open.
In the bottom right-hand corner a bar will appear showing the progress of your upload.
When the upload is complete it will appear with the rest of your files in the File Storage Area. And the bar in the right hand corner will say Uploads Completed.
