General resources for writing and citing in the health professions

About APA Style

The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association is a guide for submitting manuscripts for publication in the fields of psychology and other social sciences.  Many higher education institutions have adapted some of the guidelines to better reflect the needs of undergraduate students, so it is very possible that the various websites for APA style may have conflicting information.  ALWAYS check with your instructor to determine what your instructor wants.

The following links are to tutorials on APA's website.

APA Document Format Templates

These are preformated documents for APA style student research papers. All you have to do is substitute your specific information in the "content boxes" that give you instructions. ALWAYS check with your instructor to determine what your instructor wants.
