Gerontology Resources: Finding Books

Shortcuts to resources for the Graduate Certificate in Gerontology Program.

Did You Know?

* For distance students, the Pacific University Library will mail books to you.  If you have questions about this service, please contact Interlibrary Services at 503-352-1413 or 503-352-1410.

* If you live near a Summit library, you can visit that library and use your Pacific University ID to set up an account.  After that, you will be able to request Summit books and have them sent to that library for you to pick up.

* Books requested through ILLiad (interlibrary loan) may take 2-3 weeks to arrive.  Start your research early!

Library Catalog

When you need a book, the best place to turn is the Library catalog.  At Pacific, you have access to 3 catalogs -  our own Library catalog, the Summit library catalog (a joint catalog of 37 libraries in Oregon and Washington) and WorldCat (a global library catalog).

You find the book, and if it's not on the shelf, we'll get it to you!
