Adding Course Reserves to Moodle course site

How to Create a Folder

In order to include multiple Course Reserves documents to Moodle for students and instructors to easily find and access we will create a Folder first and then put Reserves documents inside that folder.

1. Log In to moodle.pacificu.edu, navigate to the course you would like to create Course Reserves folder for. IMPORTANT: Inside the course click Turn editing on button on upper right:

Once  you click on Turn editing on button it will turn purple and you will see control options appear by each item in the course site:

In the very top block of the course click on +Add an activity or resource. From the pop-up window select Folder under Resourses portion (you might have to scroll down in order to see Folder) than click Add:

Add button will open Adding a new Folder options. Put Course Reserves in the Name field. Under Content portion either Drag-and-Drop files into Files box or use page+ icon   to insert the file through a dialog box (if you choose page+, see instructions on the right):

Click Save and return to course after you are done. You will see your newly-created folder titled Course Reserves in the first block of the course:

Click on Course Reserves to double check if all documents are there. If you would like to add more documents to the folder simply click Edit button and go through the same process of either dragging-and-dropping or adding files through page+:
