About the Praxis in Audiology
Formerly known as the NESPA, the Praxis Examination in Audiology is the national certification test required for all certified Audiologists. The ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP, state professional licensure and state teacher credentials all require passing Praxis scores. The current passing score for the ASHA certification is 170 (on a 100-200 scale); the passing score for state certifications varies by state.
