Board Examination Preparation: ASHA Praxis Exam (SLP)

Formerly known as the NESPA, the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology is the national certification test required for all certified Speech-Language Pathologists. The ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP, state professional licensure and state teacher credentials all require passing Praxis scores. The current passing score for the ASHA certification is 162 (on a 100-200 scale); the passing score for state certifications varies by state.
