Remote students/faculty/staff, Distance Learners, Eugene and Woodburn Campuses:

(How to get Interlibrary Loan items if you cannot come to Forest Grove/Hillsboro)

  • If you are learning/teaching/working remotely, please request ALL materials via Interlibrary Loan using ILLiad, even if Pacific owns the item at any campus.
  • Shipping and returns are free!
  • Please indicate if you need this service when placing your ILLiad requests in the notes field.
  • Once your item arrives (usually around 10-14 days), we will reach out to get your current address and see if you need a free prepaid FedEx return label.
  • Once you're ready to return the item, use the free prepaid return label (contact us if another is needed!) or return to Forest Grove/Hillsboro if you are in the area.
  • Depending on the item, we may be able to get an ebook copy of it for you (usually arrive in 2-3 business days) so please let us know if you CANNOT accept ebooks when requesting.
  • Articles/chapters are always sent as PDF scans and usually arrive in 2-3 days (often much faster!).

All Interlibrary Loan services are always offered free to all current Pacific University faculty, staff, and students, regardless of location.
