General Tips:

  • Search the catalog first - items from Pacific University or regional requests (Summit) will arrive more quickly. If you can't get what you're looking for, try Interlibrary Loan.
  • If it's your first time using ILLiad, you will be prompted to fill out a short, one-time registration form when you login using your PUNet ID- see our How to Register in ILLiad tab in this guide.
  • Once you’ve requested an item, the Library staff will figure out the best way to get it to you based on price, format, and  availability.

  7. We'll email when your request is ready (usually 7-14 days, depending on where they come from).

Don't worry if you can't fill out every box in the form. The more information we have, the quicker we can fill requests, but we'll still try to find your article if some fields are blank. Please feel free to include any additional information to help us process requests in "Notes," such as if you'd prefer an ebook.
