Adding H5P Interactive Content

 

H5P is a plugin for existing publishing systems that enables the system to create interactive content like interactive videos, presentations, games, quizzes, and more! For more information about H5P, visit the H5P.org website. From the front of your course click on More and then Content bank:

 

                                                                             
 

Once you click on that it will open up the page where you can build your content. Click on the "Add content" button and select the type of content you would like to add:

 

Once you click on that it will take you to the area where you can build your H5P content step by step (if you would like to explore different types of content please contact tapiatanova@pacificu.edu for an overview. To add a video simply click on a box with a plus and it will prompt you to either upload your video from your computer or use YouTube URL (recommended). Once you added your video the box will turn black which means your video is ready to be made interactive. Click on Add interactions and 

 

Your video will show up with the interactions on the top bar. Please contact tapiatanova@pacificu.edu to get an extensive overview of interactions.

 

 

Once you build and saved you content go to the front of your course and click on "+Add an Activity or Resource" and click on H5P:

 

 

 

It will bring you to the settings for H5P. Click on the "upload file" icon in the upload window:

 

 

 

Select content you have built from the Content Bank option:

 

 

Once you click Select File

 

 

Then at the bottom of the window select Save and display: 

 

 

Moodle will display the content you loaded and you will be good to go!
